“Dear Crystal Air & Water team, I am writing regarding Invoice #85402 for the service performed at my home on December 3, 2025, at 11232 SW 34th Road, Gainesville, FL.
I want to express my disappointment with the way this visit was conducted. The service was requested by us and was paid in full at the time of the visit. However, during the appointment, your technician attempted to persuade my wife to authorize additional services, including changing the air filter—which I had personally replaced just one week earlier—as well as other air conditioning components. These recommendations were made without presenting a clear budget or written estimate in advance.
This approach made us uncomfortable and did not feel professional or transparent. As customers, we expect clear communication, justification for recommended services, and a detailed estimate before any additional work is proposed.
I would appreciate:
Clarification of your company’s policy on providing estimates and obtaining customer approval before recommending or performing additional work.
Additionally, my understanding was that we would be set up on a twice-a-year maintenance plan, as we combined by phone, with a price of 189 by the 2 visits. If that is still possible, could you please send me the details (scope of services, cost, and terms) so we can review them?
